Sagamore Ave. Gears Up!
Ironwood has been working with CMA Engineers on the new design
for Sagamore Avenue in Portsmouth. The project has been broken up into two
phases. The first phase starts at the intersection of South Street and ends a
little after Little Harbor Road.

Bike lanes will be added to both sides of the
street, sidewalks will be redone, and there will be increased visibility at the
Little Harbor Road intersection. On-street parking will be located near a small
pocket park that contains benches and plantings that will create a resting area
for bicyclists and pedestrians along the road.
